Meet Chelsea, our newest Admission Counselor

4

Hey everyone! My name is Chelsea Feraco and I’m the new Admission Counselor at SPSU. I’m very excited to continue to be a part of the university. I hope that I can contribute as much as possible to make your experience here at SPSU a great one!

A little bit about me:

I grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia and originally attended Georgia Southern University. In 2008, I transferred to SPSU as a sophomore. After my first week of attending SPSU, I completely fell in love with the campus. Three years later, in May 2011, I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel & Textiles with a minor in Business Administration. Aside from class, some of you may know me for being involved with my sorority, as a Student Ambassador or even swiping your Hornet ID card when I workedat the Recreation and Wellness Center. Since attending SPSU, I think being involved and becoming a part of the campus community really made my college experience so much better.

Between being actively involved on campus and having a strong love for our university, this position suits me perfectly. SPSU has opened up so many opportunities for me and led me to meet so many amazing people. I hope to help prospective and current students have the same experience I had here at SPSU. As I approach my 4th year here at SPSU, I hope that I can give back to SPSU as much as I got from it; the students here deserve the best!

Next to working full time, I’m currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration which I will finish in the next year or so. If you have any questions about the university or just want to meet a friendly face, then come by my office in the Admissions Building. You can also contact me at (678) 915-3527or cferaco@spsu.edu.

  3. Hi Majed, thank you for your interest in Southern Poly! All international students must submit their TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) scores when applying. We will not be able to make an admission decision without them. For more international student requirements, please visit our website: http://www.spsu.edu/undergraduate/admission/international.htm. If you have any additional questions, please email admiss@spsu.edu. Thanks!
