I’m a HUGE movie person and I love seeing all the latest and greatest movie premieres. This past weekend I just saw the movie Skyfall and I really liked it! The first Bond movie with Daniel Craig (Casino Royale) was pretty good despite the fact that they had a blond James Bond. I guess he is more so dirty blond so he can get away with it! Anyways…I liked Casino Royale but I was surprised that they emphasized Bond having an actual relationship with the woman in it. I grew up watching the old Bond movies with my dad and Bond rarely cares deeply about his women (sorry ladies). Then they come out with Quantum of Solace where he is trying to avenge the last woman’s death and I thought it was so bad…even my dad, the BIG Bond fan, fell asleep in theater.
So to get to the point…I loved the new Skyfall movie. I think they brought back the classic Bond theme and I liked the twist of having him improvise and use his some tactical skills over the usual fancy weapons. I was losing faith with Daniel Craig as 007 but after Skyfall I think he made a great comeback!
One more thing…I am really feeling the new Q! I feel like he could be an SPSU student with his wit and skills!

About Bond and his relationships; Bond actually cares about the ladies, however they all seem to have terrible luck after they hook up with him. Also in the movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” Bond (Played by George Lazenby, his only Bond film)gets married. Though, once again there is a presence of bad luck to his new wife as she is shot while sitting in a car from a drive-by meant for Bond. And again, Bond is left to avenge his wife’s death in a later movie as Roger Moore stars as Bond.
Oh wow! I actually don’t remember seeing either of those movies. I used to watch all the old Bond movies with my dad when I was younger [I know that is probably inappropriate on my dad's part but oh well]. I will have to catch up and see those! Thanks for sharing a passion for these movies!

I started watching Bond movies with my dad at a young age too and was immediately hooked. In high school I started to collect the movies and when Skyfall came out, it was a must see. Now that I have all 23 movies I enjoy re-watching them to see things I may have missed or forgotten.

That is awesome! Yea I probably watched many of them but I was so young they all are slightly a blur. I will definitely have to go back and re-watch them. I love movies in general so I will get sucked into virtually any movie.
